Levelling Agent for Wool WE shows affinity for both dyes and fibers, making it suitable for dyeing with reactive dyes for wool. When using Hostalan reactive dyes for wool from Hoechst, Germany, the color fixation rate, various dyeing fastness properties, and levelling performance after using this product are equivalent to those of Hoechst's levelling agent Eganol GES. It can also improve dye uptake when used in dyeing wool with Lanasol, Verotix, and reactive dyes for cotton. It exhibits excellent levelling effects in mordant dyes, weak acid dyes, neutral dyes, and metal complex dyes.
Dosage Guidelines:
When used with reactive dyes for wool: 1.5% (o.w.f), with ammonium sulfate as the preferred buffer.
When used with mordant dyes: 0.3-0.5% (o.w.f).
When used with weak acid dyes: 0.5-0.7% (o.w.f).
When used with 1:1 metal complex dyes: Sulfuric acid dosage can be reduced by approximately 50%, and this levelling agent is used at 1.5% (o.w.f).
When used with 1:2 metal complex dyes: 1% (o.w.f).
Dyeing Process:
Maintains the dye bath under acidic conditions, effectively preventing color deviation in fabrics caused by hydrolysis of sensitive dyes.
Free of solvents and carrier components, helping to improve the working environment. Suitable for high-temperature dark dyeing of polyester and high-temperature light dyeing requiring warm tones.
