Electroplating Industry:
As a solubilizer for benzylidene acetone (electroplating brightener).
Dosage ratio: benzylidene acetone:S-15 = 1:7–9 (by weight). Prevents electroplating bath turbidity during summer continuous plating, outperforming similar products.
Metal Cleaning Formulations:
Used in compounding metal cleaning agents, showing synergistic effects with other surfactants.
Emulsion Polymerization:
Serves as an emulsifier in emulsion polymerization processes.
Caution: Not suitable for use under alkaline conditions.
